I'm sorry it's been a few weeks since I posted with my big (yet stunning) news. At the request of a few commenters for an update, I'm going to do that.
All is still good. I'm 10 weeks today. I was released to an OB last week and the first appointment and fourth ultrasound showed what all the others have. A healthy and strong heartbeat and a squirmy little baby. I'm getting lots of blood work and the best part is this OB is going to monitor me VERY closely. I'm at increased risk for incompetent cervix, placenta previa and placenta accreta. So starting at 16 weeks, they'll do ultrasounds at every visit. So while things are still good, I have a feeling I'll not believe this is really, truly real until this little one is in my arms...right along side his or her brothers!
Speaking of...they are doing great! Kelly had an appointment on Friday and they are super active and both over 2 pounds. She failed her first glucose test, but luckily passed the 3-hour test. I want a healthy pregnancy for the boys, but also for her. So we're very relieved.
We're starting to make plans and get things together for our trip to Texas. Our plan is to leave Indianapolis on July 25th so that we're in Texas from week 34 till birth. We hit the third trimester on Thursday. It's crazy. It feels so close now!! I can't wait to meet these two little guys. Makes my heart soar just thinking about it.
